At our wildlife sanctuary, we are passionate about the welfare of injured birds of prey and other wildlife.
Our mission is to care for and heal these fascinating animals and release them back into their natural environment where they can live freely and independently.
Our highly qualified vets and keepers are available around the clock to take in injured or weakened wild animals.
Upon arrival, all animals undergo a thorough examination to diagnose their injuries or health problems.
We offer individualized treatment plans tailored to each animal’s needs.
From medical care to physiotherapy and appropriate nutrition, we do everything we can to ensure that our charges can make a full recovery.
Throughout the rehabilitation process, the animals receive the best possible care and attention to aid their recovery.
As soon as the animals are fully recovered and have regained their natural abilities, we start preparing them for release into the wild.
This includes training their hunting and survival skills and gradually adapting them to their natural environment.
Our experts closely monitor each animal’s progress and ensure they are ready to be released back into the wild.
We want to ensure that they have the best possible chance of leading a successful life in the wild.
Injured or weakened birds of prey are taken in by our specialized team.
Each bird is thoroughly examined in order to diagnose its injuries and draw up an individual treatment plan.
Our ward has a state-of-the-art medical facility where our vets and nurses provide the necessary medical care.
From wound care and x-rays to surgical procedures – we do everything we can to promote the health of our charges.
During rehabilitation, the birds of prey are housed in spacious aviaries where they can regain their flying skills.
Through targeted training and natural environmental conditions, we help the birds to sharpen their instincts and regain their fitness.
As soon as a bird of prey is fit and able to fly again, we carefully prepare it for release into the wild.
This includes checking its hunting skills, determining its adaptability to the wild and identifying a suitable release site.
The release into the wild takes into account factors such as season, food availability and habitat quality.
After release, we continue to monitor the bird to ensure that it successfully adapts to its natural habitat.
Our aim is not only to help injured birds of prey, but also to promote their long-term survival in the wild.
Through educational programs and public relations work, we are committed to the protection of birds of prey and their habitats in order to enable sustainable coexistence between humans and animals.
Thank you for supporting our bird of prey station and helping to preserve and protect these wonderful animals.
At our tortoise sanctuary, we take care of the rescue, rehabilitation and long-term care of injured and endangered tortoises.
Our experienced team of experts and volunteers work to provide these fascinating reptiles with a safe and loving environment in which they can recover.
We take in injured turtles that are in distress due to various causes such as car accidents, poaching or habitat loss.
As soon as they arrive at our center, they receive a thorough examination and medical care to treat their injuries in the best possible way.
During their stay with us, the tortoises are housed in special enclosures that meet their needs for warmth, light and a natural environment.
We provide them with a balanced diet and regular monitoring to ensure that they develop and recover optimally.
Although our aim is always to place the tortoises in suitable new homes, this is often difficult and rarely possible.
Many of the animals therefore remain in our care for the long term, where they continue to be lovingly cared for and looked after.
Through our work at the tortoise sanctuary, we actively contribute to the protection and conservation of these fascinating reptiles and make a valuable contribution to the biodiversity of our environment.
At our hedgehog sanctuary, we are dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of injured or weakened hedgehogs.
Together with Igel-Hilfe.ch, we are working to share the workload and keep staff costs low so that more financial resources can go directly to the animals.
Our dedicated team of experienced keepers and volunteers lovingly care for each and every hedgehog that is brought to us.
We provide the hedgehogs with a safe environment, medical care and a balanced diet to promote their health and well-being.
Thanks to our partnership with Igel-Hilfe.ch, we have access to a wider network of supporters and resources to ensure that every hedgehog receives the best possible care.
Together, we are committed to protecting these fascinating wild animals and giving them a second chance at life in the wild.
Your donations help us to continue our important work and give injured hedgehogs a future.
